I stayed at this lovely guesthouse in Alston for one night during a cycling trip. The owners gave us a warm welcome and even provided coffee, tea, and stroopwafels. The location was peaceful with beautiful views, yet still within walking distance of the town. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the shower was great after a day of cycling. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The family who runs the guesthouse were friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to return one day soon!
